How to Replace the A/C Clutch on 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

In order to change the A/C compressor clutch, disconnect the battery, loosen serpentine belt and unbolt the clutch. Take out the snap rings and coil and detach the clutch plate using a mallet. Install the coil and make sure that the air gap and the coil are lined properly and that the components are reassembled and fixed.
