How to Service and Repair a Manual Transmission Mount on 2004 Jeep Liberty?

For repairing the rear engine mount on manual transmissions, disconnect the negative cable from the battery and raise the vehicle to support the transmission. Take out the nuts holding the support cushion to the crossmember and remove the crossmember. The support cushion nuts and its attached cushion come next, then remove the transmission support bracket bolts to disconnect the bracket from the transmission. When installing, fasten the support cushion to the transmission and attach it with bolts. Set the crossmember inside the vehicle and bolt it in with the mount through bolt and nut. Make sure the crossmember-to-sill bolts have a tightness of 41 Nm (30 ft. lbs.), then lower and remove the transmission support, lower the vehicle and link the negative cable back to the battery.
