2004 Jeep Wrangler Throttle Position Sensor Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Install and Remove a Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) on 2004 Jeep Wrangler?
A: The Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) is removed by disconnecting its electrical connector, and unscrewing it in. For installation purposes, make sure that the throttle shaft is installed in the TPS socket to rotate slightly. Tighten screws to 7 Nm and check if it is binding (by manual operation of the throttle) and install air cleaner tube.
