How to Replace a Cabin Air Filter on Chrysler 300?

Before you replace the cabin air filter, open the air inlet grille just above the dash panel in the engine compartment. Open the panel inside the dash by pulling up the air filter lever and lift the door on the air filter housing. Before getting rid of the particulate air filter, check its current position so you can install it again more easily. Be careful not to damage the direction of air flow when pulling out the air filter from the housing, as shown by the arrow on it. When installing, have the "Rear Of Vehicle" label on the air filter facing away from you and the arrow pointing toward the rear of your car. The filter should be put straight into its housing, where friction keeps it in place and you don't need fasteners. Cover the particulate air filter with its door and then put the air inlet grille back over the wiper module screen.
