In order to service the rack and pinion, detach the battery, drain the power steering fluid, and lift the vehicle. Eliminate wheels, outer tie rods and the rack and pinion. Install the new rack, with a correct bolts and hose torque. Put together parts, re-attach the battery, and make realignment adjustments.
