How to Service and Repair a Rack and Pinion Steering System on 2006 Chrysler 300?

In order to service the rack and pinion, disconnect the battery, siphon power steering fluid, and lift the vehicle up. Remove wheels, outer tie rods and hoses. Install new rack, but make sure you have good torque on bolts and O-rings. Reassemble components, re-connect the battery, fill the reservoir and do a wheel alignment.
