  A: The first thing to do is prepare for accidental air bag deployment before working on the seat heater switch. Disconnect the negative battery cable as the first step. After that, remove the central console interior part and pull out the heated seat switch connectors. Unlock the tabs to your left and right and then pull the switches out to remove them. Place the switch at the center of the indoor console above the heated seat buttons, then press it until both tabs have locked. Slot in both heated seat switch harness connectors, fit back the center console interior trim panel and attach the negative battery cable. For maintenance purposes, the Heated Seat Switches and the Heated Seat Control Module are treated as one group.
