How to Service and Repair the Canister Purge Valve on 2005 Dodge Neon?

First, make sure to raise and hold up the vehicle to work on or fix the Canister Purge Valve. Separate the electrical cable and the vacuum tubes from the Proportional Purge Valve that is attached to a bracket by the steering gear. Take out the valve from its bracket. Set up the valve by installing it with the TOP mark facing up. Assemble the valve on the bracket, connect the vacuum tube and electrical connector to it and lastly lower the vehicle.
