How to Maintain and Fix a Mirror Switch on 2005 Dodge Neon?

For repairing or servicing a power mirror switch, make sure to remove the negative battery cable first. Then, insert a trim stick or similar hand tool onto the bezel and lift it vertex-wise away from the door trim panel. Pull out the wire connector from the switch, then remove the two retaining screws inside the switch. Install the retaining plate and reconnect the wire to the switch when you are installing it. Put the switch back into the door trim panel, then link the battery negative cable.
