How to Service the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor on 2005 Dodge Neon?

The negative battery cable must be disconnected before the sensor can be serviced. After that, remove the intake manifold temperature sensor and lift the lid from the air cleaner. After that, take out the inlet air tube from inside the throttle body and remove it from within the lid of the air cleaner. Start by fixing the inlet air tube to the air cleaner lid and screwing the clamp securely. Secure the clear plastic attachment tube from the air filter to the throttle body and tighten the clamp. Install the air cleaner lid next, wire up the intake manifold temperature sensor and once more plug in the negative battery cable.
