  A: Unlatch and open the hood to get to the pump and before you start working, separate and secure the battery negative cable. Take out the washer hose from the barbed nipple number 8 on the pump/motor unit so the fluid comes out and collects in a container for reuse. arrayDisconnect the right headlamp and dash wire harness connector from the motor connector 1 for the washer pump/motor unit. Squeezing the top of the reservoir, pull gently upward to release snap post 2 from receptacle 1 inside the reservoir. When the pump/motor is free from the reservoir, pull the barbed inlet nipple of the pump straight out from under the rubber grommet seal and remove the unit and seal from behind the washer reservoir. During installation, slide a new rubber grommet seal 4 into the pump mounting hole on the washer reservoir 6. Fit the barbed end of the washer pump through the rubber grommet in the reservoir and press firmly down until the nipple is fixed into place. Push washer pump/motor snap post 2 until it snaps over snap post receptacle 3 in the washer reservoir. Attach the washer reservoir hose again to the barbed nipple 8 on the pump and hook the right headlamp and dash wire harness connector for the washer pump/motor unit back to the motor connector receptacle 1. Soon after, replenish the washer fluid, attach the battery negative cable and lock the hood in place.
