  A: Be certain to unhook and isolate the battery's negative cable when beginning any antenna cable work. Open the glove box and pass your hand through the open space below the instrument panel to take out the connector between the two antenna coaxial cables by pulling them apart while rotating the metal halves. Unscrew the affixed antenna mast from the outer cowl panel island on the right side. Use the trim stick to prise open the trim cover around the base of the antenna; once unsnapped, remove the screws holding the antenna body base to the cowl. On the inside, push through the hole the grommet on the antenna side of the coaxial cable, located on the antenna body half of the cable. Once you have secured the cable and tightened both sections of the coaxial cable to the antenna, pull them all out through the hole in the right outer cowl side panel. Insert the antenna cable and base assembly into the hole at the outer panel through the side of the cowl and continue pulling so the grommet on the cable is seated into the inner panel hole. Fasten the three screws holding the antenna body base to the outer cowl panel, with tightness of 3.3 N.m (30 in. lbs.,) and then fit the antenna base trim cover. Use a torque wrench to attach the mast, ensuring it's at 5 N.m (46 in. lbs.) and doesn't have any gaps on the antenna base. Pass through the glove box slot to connect the two antenna coaxial cables using a line connector, fit the glove box into the instrument panel and complete by attaching the battery negative cable.
