How to Maintain a Rear Door Handle on 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

Step one is to remove the door trim panel followed by lifting the door glass. After that, take out the clips holding the linkage rods to the door latch and remove the nuts that connect the outside handle to the door. Cut away the old handle and attach the lock and latch rods to the new handle. Set the handle in place with the opening. Fasten all the nuts, join the linkage rods to the latch and then put back the door trim panel.
