How to Service and Repair a Door Lock Cylinder on 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

In order to service the cylinder of the front door lock, pull off the door trim panel and water dam and lift up the glass. Unlock the rod and wire, and dislodge the lock retainer cylinder then remove the cylinder. To install it, undo the procedure, making sure that everything is put back together.
