How to Maintain a Seat Heater Switch on 2006 Dodge Dakota?

The first thing to do when servicing a heated seat switch/module is to remove the negative battery cable. Smartly use a nice flat instrument to carefully lift out the hot seat switch/unit, making sure you don't harm the area. Take the flat bladed tool, detach the switch/module 2 and 4 connectors and remove the heated seat switch/module 3 from the bezel 1. Install by placing the switch/module over the bezel so its tabs are aligned, then push them together until they are held in position. After making the electrical connection on switches 2 and 4, push the switch/module bezel into the center console hole and have it securely stay in place. Then, attach the negative battery cable again and see if your heated seat is working.
