  A: The two permanently sealed EVAP canisters hang in a two-part support bracket near the beginning of the fuel tank. Start by lifting the vehicle, supporting the canisters and then unhook each fuel tube/line from every canister and keep note of their locations. Then, take off the lower support bracket and all the mounting nuts at the top of the canisters and finally remove each canister from the upper support bracket. The next step is to put every canister into the upper bracket and fasten them with nuts, turning them to 95 in. lbs. (11 N.m). Attach the bracket bolts that support the lower end of the exhaust and bolt them down tightly to 125 in. lbs. (14 N.m). Join the vapor/vacuum lines together before checking them along with the LDP, LDP filter and EVAP canister purge solenoid for any problems, because a leak at any point may raise a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC).
