How to Service the Speed Sensor in a 41TE Automatic Transaxle on 2006 Dodge Stratus?

Before servicing the input speed sensor on a 41TE automatic transaxle, remove the negative battery cable. After that, take out the wire connector from the input speed sensor. Unscrew the input speed sensor and look at the O-ring. If it is damaged, replace it with a new O-ring. Look at the O-ring a second time before installation and change it if required. Place and secure the input speed sensor at a tightness of 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.), plug in its connector and assure the battery is back in place and connected.
