Can You Replace the Hood Hinge Without Removing the Hood on 2006 Jeep Commander?

To replace hood hinges, mark the position of the hood hinges on the hood, support the hood and disconnect the support cylinder. Remove and replace the hinge aligning it with the marks. Tighten the hood hinge bolts to 28N.m and fender rail bolts to 12N.m. Install the support cylinder again and adjust the hood if required.
