How to Remove and Install a MAP Sensor on 2006 Jeep Liberty?

You can find the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor at the front of the intake manifold and seal it in place with an O-ring. The first step is to disconnect the sensor's connector, next clean the area around it and finally take out the two mounting screws. When the sensor is out, look at the O-ring. Make sure to inspect the O-ring during installation and that the mounting hole is ordered clean in the intake manifold. Instead the sensor into the manifold, attach the screws tightly and check that the torque is 3 N.m (25 in. lbs.), then attach the electrical connector.
