How to Service and Repair a Power Steering Hose on 2006 Jeep Liberty?

At the start of servicing or fixing the power steering pressure hose, siphon out all the power steering fluid from the reservoir. Then, get rid of the radiator crossmember, fan and fan shroud before dealing with the serpentine belt. Take apart the pressure hose from the pump as well as from the gear and then remove the pressure hose bracket bolts found behind the headlamp assembly. First, attach the pressure hose to the vehicle and then secure the mounting bracket bolts behind the headlamp assembly to 12 Nm (9 ft. lbs.). Attach the hose to the gear so it is secure at 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.) and do the same with the pressure hose attached to the pump. After that, put the serpentine belt back, fasten the fan shroud and fan, mount the radiator crossmember and fill the power steering fluid.
