How to Service and Repair a Steering Shaft on 2006 Jeep Liberty?

In order to service the intermediate shaft, remove the battery, the knee blocker cover, and lock the steering wheel. Unscrew the bottom column pinch bolt and couple and the middle shaft. To install, reverse the procedure with all bolts screwed in to designated torque and re-attach the battery.
