  • Q: How to Service and Repair a Heater Core on 2007 Chrysler Aspen?
    A: Before starting the heater core service, remove and isolate the negative battery cable. After that, take out the rear HVAC housing and the rear blend door actuator. Remove the foam seal from the rear heater core and evaporator extension line flange without damaging it; be sure to replace the seal if it is spoiled. Pull out the screws connecting the two rear heater core and evaporator extension line segments and then remove the outer half of the flange. Undo the screw that ties the heater core tube retaining bracket to the rear HVAC casing and get rid of the bracket. After that, use care to remove the rear heater core from the side wall of your car's rear HVAC housing.
