How to Properly Service and Repair a Shock Absorber on 2007 Chrysler Crossfire?

The vehicle should be placed on its wheels before you take out the upper shock absorber mounting nut (1). Once the nut is out, come off the rubber mounts and the flat washer. Once that's done, lift and hold the vehicle, then take the shock absorber nut and bolt off the lower control arm (1). Draw the shock out of the vehicle by bringing the shock downward. Afterward, remove all mounting parts from the shock absorber and check all of them for any broken or cracked areas.
