2007 Chrysler Pacifica Power Steering Hose Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Remove and Repair a Power Steering Hose on 2007 Chrysler Pacifica?
A: Before serving or repairing the power steering line/hose, start by removing the negative battery cable and placing it aside. Open the reservoir for power steering fluid and then use the siphon pump to drain it as much as you can. Unhook the clamp connecting the return hose to the reservoir and take out the hose. Support the vehicle firmly, then free the mounting nuts on the wheel and remove the front tire and wheel. Eliminate the drive belt splash shield and then take off the nut along with the hose tube routing clamp above the A/C compressor. Once that's done, take out the routing clip that holds the return hose to the pressure hose near the drive belt. Remove the screw holding the pressure hose on its clamp and then pull the return hose clamp to the other side of the engine cradle and remove its screw. In addition, remove the screw that holds the return hose clamp to the left side of the engine cradle. After that, separate the tube nut holding the return hose to the power steering gear and remove the hose from the automobile.
