After that, get rid of the lower guide pin bolt in the disc brake caliper. Be sure not to pull the rear brake caliper too high so as not to break the flex hose. Lift the caliper only high enough to slide out the brake rotor, hinging off the upper guide pin bolt, then hold it up by the lower pin bolt and fasten the caliper in that position with a wire or bungee cord. Once the calipers are removed, slide the brake rotor over the hub, off the bearing and then take it out.
