How to Service the A/C Switch on 2007 Dodge Dakota?

Before servicing the control assembly, turn off the air bag system in vehicles fitted with air bags by taking out the negative cable of the battery for two minutes. First, take out and remove the negative battery cable from the engine. After that, lift out the center bezel from the instrument panel and pull the wire harness hooks 3 and 4 off the A/C-heater control 1. Put the center bezel on a workbench, remove the two screws that connect the A/C-heater control and then separate them from the center bezel.
