How to Service and Repair Brake Pads on the Front Wheels on 2007 Dodge Dakota?

Before servicing the front brake pads, lift the vehicle and remove the wheel and tire assemblies. Squeeze the caliper and free the bolts holding the caliper slide pin in place. Take the caliper out of the caliper adapter so that the brake hose does not hold the caliper assembly. Mount and stabilize the caliper, then take out the inboard brake pad from the caliper adapter and the outboard one as well. Then, push the anti-rattle clips off the outboard pad.
