2007 Dodge Dakota Parking Brake Cable Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair a Parking Brake Cable for Rear on 2007 Dodge Dakota?
A: Lift the back of the vehicle and recommend that the mechanic push one end of the cable through the cable support plate hole, until it is held secure by the tabs at each end. After that, put the rear cables into position inside the park brake lever at the back of the assembly. Attach the hold down brackets to lock the park brake cable in place after that. Join the cable to the central cable connector. After that, get rid of the lock out device and move on to park brake adjustment. Referrers take away the supports and slowly lower the vehicle down.
