How to Install an Ignition Coil on a 3.7L Engine on 2007 Dodge Durango?

Before putting in the ignition coil, blow compressed air at the top of the spark plug to ensure it's free of dirt. If the condition of the coil O-ring (2) allows, change it and add silicone to the new one for more convenient assembly. First, set the ignition coil in the cylinder head opening and place and push it onto the spark plug as you guide the base of the coil over the stud. Attach coil stud nut (2) and tighten it with an 8 Nm (70 in. lbs) torque. After that, snap the electrical connector onto the coil and install the throttle body air tube only if required.
