How to Remove the Glove Box from the Instrument Panel on 2007 Jeep Commander?

To open the glove box, first, pull the damper rod out of the glove box and push it toward the rear of the car until it comes free. 1. Stand with your back to the driver's seat and open the glove box. 2. Press down on the two small open stops at the top of the bin to move the glove box away from you and onto the carpet. Then, turn the box over, disconnect the door hinges from the bottom and take out the glove box.
