How to Maintain and Fix a Hood Latch on 2007 Jeep Commander?

At the start, mark the position of the hood latch on the upper radiator crossmember with a grease pencil or something similar. After that, take out the two nuts at the top of the radiator crossmember that secure the hood latch. Lastly, remove the main cable from the hood latch.
