2007 Jeep Commander Seat Heater Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Maintain Your Seat Heater on 2007 Jeep Commander?
A: Before beginning any work on the seat heater, first disconnect and shut off the battery negative cable. Afterward, take out the seat cushion or the seat back trim cover if it's removable. Remove the electrical wires from the heated seat you wish to disable. Then, locate the wires going to the inoperative heating element and cut them will flush against the old element. Removing the factory supplied heating elements from the seat or back cushion will cause the part to become damaged permanently. The dynamic heating element should be installed directly on the old and defective piece.
