2007 Jeep Commander Relay Block Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service the Relay Block on 2007 Jeep Commander?
A: First, disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable to turn off the air bag system and after two minutes, the air bag system capacitor will be discharged. Begin the process by removing the upper edge of the opening cover which disengages the clips, then remove and store the screw under the opening cover. Disconnect the bottom right side Relay Block connectors, then get to the back of the Relay Block and pull the top right side Relay Block plug out. Take out the screws attached to the Relay Block on the bracket and after that, gently loosen the two top snaps that link the Relay Block to the bracket. Pull down on the top of the Relay Block to pop the retaining tabs out of the bracket. To finish, let the Relay Block drop out the opening at the bottom by removing the fastening once the instrument panel is open.
