2008 Jeep Commander Seat Heater Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service a Seat Heater on 2008 Jeep Commander?
A: The first step for servicing the heated seat is to disconnect and separate the battery negative cable. Then, take off the seat cushion or back trim as needed. After that, remove the electrical cables from the malfunctioning seat. After that, find and cut the wires linked to the broken heating element, ensuring they are cut level with the end of the original element. Make sure not to try to remove the factory installed heating parts from the seats, since they are built in and doing so will cause permanent harms. This replacement heating element should be installed right on top of the broken factory heating element.
