2007 Jeep Wrangler Brake Pad Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair Brake Pads on the Front on 2007 Jeep Wrangler?
A: When changing and repairing the front brake pads, begin by getting rid of all rust and dirt on the anti-rattle clip posts of the brake caliper adapter. After that, add new anti-rattle clips onto the caliper adapter. After that, put on both the inboard and outboard brake pads into the caliper adapter and finally attach the caliper to the adapter. While securing the caliper, tighten the caliper slide pin bolts to 44 Nm (32 ft. lbs.). After that, attach the wheel and tire assembly, lift out the support and lower down your car. Then, pump on the brake pedal until the calipers and pads are secure, leading to a strong brake pedal and adding fluid whenever you need to.
