2008 Jeep Wrangler Brake Pad Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair Brake Pads on the Front Wheels on 2008 Jeep Wrangler?
A: Start the brake pad service by raising the car and supporting it, then remove the wheel and tire. Take out a bit of fluid from the master cylinder brake reservoir with a clean suction gun. Following that, undo the caliper mounting bolts, squeeze the caliper and get it off the adapter. Clamp the caliper onto a nearby suspension part using wire, so the brake hose does not take the weight of the caliper. First, separate the inboard and outboard brake pads from the caliper adapter and afterward take out the anti-rattle clips from the adapter as well.
