2007 Jeep Wrangler Brake Line Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Install a Brake Line on 2007 Jeep Wrangler?
A: The first step in installing the brake hose is to fasten it (3) into the hole in the frame with the mounting bolt (2). After that, fit the brake line tube nut (1) onto the brake hose (3) and apply a torque of 23 Nm (200 in. lbs.). There, use a new washer on each side of the fitting and thread (2) the banjo bolt into the caliper, applying 31 Nm (23 ft. lbs.) of torque. When you've finished these steps, drop the vehicle, get rid of the brake pedal holding tool and regard the base brake hydraulic system as needed.
