2007 Jeep Wrangler Brake Caliper Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Safely Remove and Replace a Brake Caliper on 2007 Jeep Wrangler?
A: Before removing the brake caliper, first support your vehicle and remove the wheel and tire from the front. Remove a limited quantity of fluid from the brake reservoir using a clean artificial suction gun. Pry over the caliper to get the pistons to the bottom of the caliper. After that, disconnect the brake hose banjo bolt and its gasket washers and toss away the washers. Once the guide bolts are loosened, remove the caliper as well from the adapter.
