2008 Chrysler Pacifica Control Arm Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to install a control arm on 2008 Chrysler Pacifica?
A: Place the cam washer on the cam bolt before you put on the toe link. Put the link's end over the cam bolt at the crossmember and place bolt 3 and nut 2 to hold the link to the knuckle for now, leaving everything loose. In the same way as before, keep the toe adjustment cam bolt in place and ensure the cam faces up. After that, place nut 2 on the crossmember to secure the toe link without tightening. Trim the wheel speed sensor cable from above the toe link at the machined flats and then fit the rear exhaust as required. Then, put the tire and wheel on the hub and tighten the mounting nuts to 135 Nm (100 ft. lbs.). Suspend the car below the tarmac and place it on the alignment rack or drive-on hoist, raising it only to reach the mounting bolts. Adjust the fastener at the crossmember nut to 172 Nm (127 ft. lbs.) and the bolt at the knuckle to 108 Nm (80 ft. lbs.). After that, have your wheels aligned properly.
