2007 Chrysler Pacifica Control Arm Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Remove and Replace a Control Arm on 2007 Chrysler Pacifica?
A: You should start by lining up the lower control arm inside the two attachment brackets of the engine cradle. Make sure you install the lower control arm bushings on the engine cradle using bolts placed from the rear and then place the nuts on the bolts, but do not tighten them. Set the steering knuckle, brake rotor and caliper in place and afterwards put in the tire and wheel assembly, turning the wheel mounting nuts 135 Nm (100 ft. lbs.). Raise the vehicle so it sits on an alignment rack or hoist. When the bolts are out of reach, raise the hoist until you can access them. At curb height, connect the lower control arm to the vehicle by tightening each mounting bolt to 163Nm (120ft. lbs).
