After that, remove the two bolts connecting the guide pins to the brake calipers. After detaching the disc brake caliper from the disc brake adapter, use wire or a bungee cord to hold it out of the brake system so it doesn't become overextended. Afterward, take the brake pads from the adapter on the disc brake caliper.
