  A: First, remove the negative battery cable and make sure it is out of the way for the repair. Then, take off the cap from the reservoir and use a siphon pump to eliminate the greatest amount of power steering fluid. Take off the five nuts from the pressure hose routing clamps on the engine and remove the clamps from the engine studs. To take off the pressure hose, first unthread the tube nut and remove the clamp together with its attached hose from the pump. Following that, remove the accessory drive belt. Remove the three mounting bolts that hold the pump, in the access visible through the pump pulley and lift the assembly out of the engine.
