  A: The first step is to remove as much of the power steering fluid as you can and then take off the engine's appearance cover. For engines without turbos, loosen the bolt holding the pressure hose routing bracket in the upper mount and pull the hose away at the pump pressure port. On turbo engines, take off the pressure hose from the pump pressure port. Then, take off the hose clamp holding the supply hose to the pump and take the hose off. Go ahead and take out the drive belt. Ultimately, loosen the three bolts of each pump, pass them through the pulleys and remove the power steering pump.
