How to Service and Repair a Power Steering Hose for Gas Engines for Pressure Hose on 2008 Dodge Caliber?

For servicing and fixing the power steering on a gas engine, take as much power steering fluid from the reservoir before opening the hose. After that, open the engine appearance cover and unhook the pressure tube at the port found on the pump. After that, remove the bolt holding the pressure hose routing bracket on the upper mount. In engines except the 2.4L with All-Wheel-Drive, unbolt the pressure hose routing clamp from the exhaust manifold; for the 2.4L and All-Wheel-Drive, repeat the action. Lift and hold up the vehicle, then remove the return hose from the return tube and later remove the return tube from the gear. Release the pressure line from the steering gear and take out the bolts, holding the power steering line hoses to the crossmember. Afterwards, take off the power steering pressure hose from the vehicle.
