2008 Dodge Dakota Brake Booster Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Install a Brake Booster on 2008 Dodge Dakota?
A: With the spacer and gaskets on the booster studs, place the four studs in their cowl panel holes and set the booster on the panel. Install and tighten the four nuts that hold the booster to an engine to 28 Nm (250 in. lbs.). After that, put the booster push rod onto the brake pedal and attach it with the clip. Hook one end of the hose to the vacuum cleaner and the other to the check valve. Once that's done, place and secure the master cylinder, then fill and bleed the brake system.
