How to Properly Align and Install an Intermediate Shaft on a 2008 Dodge Viper?

To install the intermediate shaft, position it according to the removal procedure. Align and slide the coupling on to the intermediate shaft and steering gear shaft and install and tighten the pinch bolts to 49 Nm (36 ft. lbs.). Finally, reinstall the air cleaner housing, remove the steering wheel holder and reconnect the battery.
