In order to service the Air Bag Control Module, one should disconnect the battery negative cable and wait two minutes before the capacitor discharges. The center console can be removed, Occupant restraint Controller (ORC) unscrewed, C1 and C2 connector removed, and then the ORC can be pulled out of the car.
