  • Q: How to Install Air Bag Sensors for Front and Side-Mounted Applications on 2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
    A: On the side radiator support, place the left front satellite acceleration sensor and secure it with two retaining screws, tightening them to 10.5 Nm (92 in. lbs. and afterward, attach the SAS electrical connector. The next step is to set in the front lower grille. The right front satellite acceleration sensor should be placed on the side radiator support, secured with two 10-Nm (92 in. lb.) retaining screws and an electrical connector linked, before fitting the front lower grille. With regard to the side-mounted satellite acceleration sensor, fix the SAS in the B-pillar with the connector pointing down, fasten the retaining nuts to 8 Nm (70 in. lbs.), attach the SAS connector and apply the lower B-pillar trim. You should not hook the negative terminal of the battery until you have checked the system for your protection.
