How to Install a Steering Column Cover on 2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

To put in the steering column opening cover, first place the instrument panel reinforcement bracket beside it and fasten it with screws at 2.2 Nm (20 in. lbs.) tightness. After that, place the bottom of the opening cover on the reinforcement bracket and fasten it onto the retainer clips. Raise the cover only enough to allow the snap retainers to fit with the instrument panel. After that, secure the negative battery cable to its socket.
