How to Install a Transmission Speed Sensor for Input on 2009 Dodge Dakota?

First, put the sensor inside the transmission case to install it. Before attaching the bolt, use Mopar(R) Lock & Seal Adhesive to re-cover the bolt thread with the sealing patch. After that, connect the input speed sensor to the bolt and tighten it with a torque wrench to 9 Nm (80 in.lbs.). Subsequent to that, plug in the wiring for the input speed sensor and test the fluid in the transmission; add fluid if needed and then lower the vehicle.
